I wonder why he married a girl so far removed from his own culture. I think about my life, how it would be if I married my friend. She is from an Islamic culture, completely different to our lifestyle here. I don't know if Tiger Woods cheated on his wife, but if he did, was it merely temptation or something connected with their cultural differences.
I'm not a man for the blondes, but she looks fantastic.

I sincerly doubt it was to do with cultural differences, more likely it was the fact that he's a famous sports star and it was offered to him on a plate and he took the opportunity.
I don't know why I am surprised or upset by this but I am! I really thought Tiger was one of the good ones! He always seemed really genuine and sweet.

Well I am trying to understand what would lead to infidelity in the first place. You don't know whats in somebody's head unless they tell you. You wouldn't cheat if you were happy with someone, i mean really happy. hmmm.
I didn't know he was a Buddhist. She isn't is she?

If you're not happy with someone then you talk about it and try and fix things or break up. You don't whore around behind their back.
Also, I know that picture is only supposed to be a bit of a laugh and intended in a light hearted manner but is it not raising an issue of double standards a bit? If a man hit his wife with a golf club because she cheated on him, I don't think people would be so quick to joke about it.

@ Charlotte - Yes national identity, or what's in a person's head. You know in some foreign societies, like my friend's, the measure of the individual depends on how many designer labels they are wearing (can you believe it. lol.
), whereas in our society dressing down would be seen as more appropriate in every day life. @ Emmagination - i agree!

MemberBrilliant point Emma! Say Rihanna had cheated on Chris Brown and that was the reason why he hit her, would we all be laughing and making light of it and photoshopping a picture of her bruised face into a christmas photo? No, we were all outraged & Brown pretty much lost his career over it.

Ah God no, Emma's point is totally valid. I'm just saying that I don't think we'd be laughing if she had actually assaulted him. We're better than that! But yeah, laughing at the intent that she probably (deffo) had whilst wielding the club is not exactly our finest hour either I guess! Shame on us.....*snigger*
